Terms of Use
The simple rules for using Ribbonnote.
Last updated: October 29, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Ribbonnote. By joining the waitlist or making a gift page, you agree to them.
The short version
Your photos and letters stay yours.
Only share what you have the right to share.
Be kind with what you make.
Plus is a one-time payment, yours to keep.
Using Ribbonnote
You need to be at least 16 to use Ribbonnote. To buy Plus, you need to be an adult or have a parent’s permission. You don’t need an account. Keep your edit link private, because anyone who has it can change your page.
Your content
The names, photos and letters you add stay yours. You give us permission to store and show them only so your gift page works. You’re responsible for what you upload, so make sure you have the right to use it.
What’s not allowed
Don’t use Ribbonnote for anything illegal, hateful or harassing, for sexual content involving minors, or to share things that aren’t yours to share. Don’t try to break or misuse the service. We may remove pages that break these rules. To report a page, or a photo used without permission, email [email protected].
Free and Plus
Making and previewing a gift page is free. Free pages show a small Ribbonnote mark. The first 100 people on the waitlist get their first gift page without it.
Plus is a one-time payment that unlocks more themes, color options and no mark, for every gift page you make. The founder price is $9 for the first 100 people on the waitlist, until 31 January 2027. After that, Plus is $15. Prices are in USD.
Refunds
Plus is sold through Creem, our merchant of record, which handles payment, tax and refunds. If something isn’t right, email us within 14 days of buying and we’ll fix it or arrange a refund.
How long pages stay up
We keep gift pages online for at least 2 years from the day you make them. If we ever need to close Ribbonnote, we’ll give you notice so you can save your photos and letters.
The waitlist
Joining the waitlist doesn’t commit you to buying anything. Launch dates and features may change before launch.
Our responsibility
We work hard to keep Ribbonnote running, but it’s provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for losses caused by outages or by what people share. Nothing here limits your rights under consumer law.
Changes to these terms
If we update these terms, we’ll change the date at the top and email you if the change is important.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia.
